Marsha P Johnson whose real name was Malcolm Michaels Jr was an American gay activist and self-identified drag queen who is known for her advocacy for gay rights and is also renowned as a founding member of the Gay Liberation Front.
Johnson was also crowned as Mayor of Christopher Street and later on, in the last phase of her life became an AIDS activist. Johnson was 46 years old at the time of death. Johnson was born on August 24, 1945, and died on July 6, 1992.

Johnson’s death was considered suicide initially but in 2012 it was reopened and stated as undetermined. So Johnson’s death is still a mystery.
