Who is Khusbu Oli? Biography & Wiki

Khusbu Oli is a very beautiful and talented model and a prominent social figure who came into the limelight after winning the “Miss Teen” title in 2006,  just after a year Priyanka Karki won it. Born in a Brahmin family of eastern Nepal, Khusbu was an ambitious lady since her childhood and even won a beauty pageant for kids at the age of 10. After winning the pageant, she expressed her desire for serving the needy and being like Mother Teresa.

Khusbu was born on September 15, 1990, in The Eastern Development Region, Nepal. As of 2023, she is 33 years old with around 5 feet and 5 inches tall in height.

Talking about Khusbu Oli‘s education, she completed her SLC from the Kathmandu University High School and continued her further study at Xavier Academy, Kathmandu. During her high school year, she participated in Miss Teen Competition and again won the popular beauty pageant competition for teenage girls. She is also the recipient of Asia’s one of the biggest awards “AFC Dream Asia Award” in Individual Category 2018 for addressing social issues and driving social change through my NGO with an award of $10000 and $50000 Legacy Project with Asian Football Confederation.

Journey in Social Work

During the cold winter evening, Khusbu Oli saw a few children sitting by the fire in Durbar Marg. They had worn-torn clothes and were sniffing glue. It broke her heart and made her feel truly concerned. That very incident triggered her interest in social work and founded Shelter Nepal to help these underprivileged kids. Her main goal is to improve the lives of poor children, provide them with education, rehabilitation, and legal identity. Once the children become capable enough and financially independent, they move out and embark on their journey of life.

She has got married to Mr Santosh Adhikari – NRN entrepreneur. The wedding took place at Kathmandu’s Yak and Yeti Hotel and was attended by many high profile figures of Nepal.
